Celebrating Our Volunteers During National Volunteer Week!
This week is National Volunteer Week; at Coastline we have dozens of volunteers to thank and to show our appreciation. I’ve written before how several of our programs would not exist without our volunteers, so we, as well as all of the older adults we serve, cannot send enough gratitude to all of these selfless individuals.
Like many nonprofits, Coastline would not be able to reach and assist as many people as we do without the help of our volunteers. They allow us to provide services to more and more people in need each year and they play an integral role in making it possible for elders throughout the community to continue living in their own homes or communities of choice for as long as possible.
In the spirit of this week we encourage you to go out and volunteer your time and skills to others. You can sign up to volunteer on a long-term basis, or just once or twice a year by giving blood or volunteering at a local event. Coastline always has several volunteer opportunities available, which you can learn more about by calling 508-999-6400.
