Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. provides programs, services, information, and resources to older adults and individuals with disabilities to help them remain at home and independent.
We believe everyone has the right to resources that allow them to choose how they would like to receive care so they can continue living independently with dignity and respect.
The majority of our programs are available to residents of Greater New Bedford and the surrounding towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Gosnold, Marion, Mattapoisett, and Rochester. Even if you don’t live in one of these towns, please still call us so we can direct you to the agency that covers your community.
We encourage you to call our Information & Referral Department so we can learn more about you and your needs, and direct you to the right resources, either at Coastline or another community organization.

Coastline Elderly Services was founded in 1977 after the passage of the Older Americans Act. At the time, there weren’t many options for elders or their caregivers and families, so many elders were placed in nursing homes when they no longer were easily able to maintain independence in their own home.
Over the past 35+ years, Coastline has grown to house dozens of programs, and to provide services and assistance to individuals of any age with a disability. All of our programs function to fulfill the same goal: To keep individuals at home and as independent as possible.
