Strategic Plan 2003 – 2008
Mission Statement:
Enhance the lives of seniors, caregivers and those with similar needs by assisting them to remain independent through a range of quality services.
Vision:
Every adult in our region shall have a choice and a range of services that will assist them to remain independent in their chosen environment.
Priority #1 – Deal with challenges of the older frail population:
Position Statement: CESI will be the area resource for meeting the needs of an aging frail population.
Priority #2 – Expand Our Service Base:
Position Statement: In an effort to enhance the service base, CESI will expand and develop programs to address unmet needs within the community.
Priority #3 – Improve Communication and Advocacy:
Position Statement: CESI will work continuously to educate the community about the changing needs and available services to the senior population and those with similar needs. CESI will take an active role in advocating on senior issues.
Priority #4 – Ensure Adequate Resources:
Position Statement: CESI will ensure it has the necessary resources to carry out the mission of the agency. CESI will continuously re-evaluate itself and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
